WIBTAH If I called corporate for McDonalds trying to serve me cold food after they banned me for calling corporate?
Context, I'm a grill cook of 16 years. I have a lot of patience, I understand everyone is human and mistakes happen. Every night after work, I'm too tired to make food for myself. I order two burgers, a large fry, and ketchup through the app, religiously. 6 months ago, they started selling me half empty fries. I call the store, they fight me on it, I email corporate, they ignore me. I reach out to McDonalds on twitter/x and they get me a replacement no problem. I did this a few times and after about 5 replacements, I stopped going there. They cant please me, I understood that. Well, after a few months of eating gas station hot dogs, I hit my breaking point. I started buying dinner from McDonald's again. Not even a week back, they sent me home with undercooked fries. They were soggy and raw, I couldn't even eat them. I message corporate on twitter/x about it and I get a replacement. When I go to pick it up, the store manager confronted me about calling corporate. We had a discussion and I respected everything they said to me. Flash forward two days later, I order my dinner through the app, pull up to the drive thru and they refused to serve me. "You call corporate too much, I work too hard, we cant please you, you are no longer welcome to be a patreon here." The following morning, I called the store and talked with the head manager that confronted me about reaching out to corporate. She apologized for her managers actions and told me I was more than welcome to be a patreon and she would have a talking with the manager that refused me service. I ordered my dinner through the app after work, I pull up to the speaker and the manager that refused me the night prior was at the speaker, before I could give my code she said "I know who you are, pull up to the window." I say "thank you very much." And pull up to the window. I'm in the Midwest, its in the negatives, its -15 windchill. This manager had my dinner in her hand, arm fully extended with my food out in the cold air before I even pulled up to the window. WIBTAH if I called the store and told the head manager what she did? She slammed the window closed before I could apologize for everything. She had a bad attitude that I went over her head and tried to make my food cold deliberately as a "gotcha b***h!" All I want to do is order my food and go home, but I dont know what direction I should take this. For extra context, I close at work, I'm always the last one out. Were a bar, we close late. McDonalds is the only restaurant open, I have no other options for hot food, I'm not deliberately going there to cause trouble. They make good food and I enjoy it. I just dont enjoy being made out to be a liar. I just want to get my food, say thank you, and go home. WIBTAH if I raised my concerns?
****Update, thank you everyone for sharing your opinions with me. I hear everyone. I'm going to stop going there and am completely dropping it. I appreciate everyone's input, it is invaluable.****
