Why is my Airpod pro 3 wont reset and connect?

Yes I did try the right way to reset it, double tapping the front thee times. But instead of green, white, fast white, amber and blinking white mine just go back to solid green after the amber part. I tried charging it for half an hour and doing the restart again. it still result to solid green after amber.

For context about the airpod, a friend gave it to me and they already forgot the airpod on their phone and the find my app. They told me to just restart the Airpod and connect. But after everything I did. It still wont connect. I am using an Android phone btw.

Although, when the airpod did appear on my Bluetooth devices, it still says "Theirname)'s Airpod". does that mean it ignore my past attempt on restarting the Airpod because it still connected to my friend's device? please I need some help about this. sorry if my english is bad.
