How do you reconcile the A-League’s franchise roots with your sense of club authenticity?

With the hopeful rise of storied NSL clubs like Preston Lions aspiring to join the fold, how do you balance your club’s franchise roots with your sense of authenticity?

This is in response to a clip of a passionate NPL fan calling the A-League plastic. He’s not exactly right, most A-Liga clubs existed before he took his first breath. But he’s not entirely wrong either. I feel the league exists in the grey. Born in a boardroom, but supported by real people who care deeply about Aussie football.

The aim of this post is to bridge gaps and move towards a common goal. Honestly, I’d gladly cop “plastic” for Australia to get around a passionate 20 team league

Edit: So, what do you love about your club? what made your club feel like home?
