Friend falling into Qanon and alt-right - How to pull them back out?

A friend said to me today (over text chat) "I watched Sound of Freedom, you should watch it, it's good" … and then led on to … "also, Oprah Winfrey runs a child sex trafficking ring out of South Africa."

I never realised until I looked just how messed up that Qanon conspiracy theory nonsense is.

I told them I don't believe them and asked them to show me some evidence of their claim. They got very angry and said I should just accept the facts without any evidence to support it and "do my research."

For reasons I won't talk about here, I'd like to try and pull this person out of this particular abyss, if I can.
