Is this user error or overpriced holsters

I have 2 ANR design holsters. One for my IWI Masada, one for my P365x. Got the Masada one first, a year and a half ago. Carried it daily till late this past winter when I bought the sig. I liked the ANR so i bought another. A week ago I noticed a crack on the sig holster, so I've been looking at buying a new one. Retention was still good so I kept running it but now it's gotten worse. It doesn't hold the gun at all so the sig is back in the safe till I get a new holster.

Bought the masada holster from the IWI website, so no warranty. Can't find the email from ANR for the sig holster but I dont think I bought their warranty. Oh well.

Am I too rough on them? I work in landscaping, but I spend more time in a dump truck than anything. I doubt my belt is too tight, it doesnt bruise my hips like I've seen in some other posts here. I'd hate to think a $70 holster is cheap.
