How do most fans outside of the new Big 12 view the conference?

Will the new Big 12 be viewed as the bottom of the power 5, or will it be viewed similarly as it is now? I am curious what an average fan outside the new Big 12 would think of its standing among the power 5. I feel like the past decade; it’s been 3rd behind the Big 10 and SEC but ahead of the Pac 12 and ACC. With Texas and OU gone and the addition of the others, will this change? I believe the current new BIG 12 product on the field is better than the ACC and Pac 12, but with the lack of a true “blue blood” and revenue-wise, would this hurt the conference in the grand scheme of things?
