Am I reading this right? 50% special dividend by Paramount Resources (POU.TO)? How often does this happen?

Not at all trying or meaning to promote a stock - I'm legitimate curious (and shocked).

I got into POU a while ago from a recommendation from a friend -- good long-term stable Oil and Gas company, decent dividend. Run by a long-term, well-known O/G family.

And then today I'm reading - 50% special, one-time dividend! Subject to approval, of course... They just sold a bunch chunk of land/assets a while ago.

How often does this sort of thing happen? I kinda spit my coffee out this morning reading that.
