Got my new little buddy turning off the highway yesterday

Was turning back onto the backroads from the highway and noticed a little blob of whatever in the middle of the other lane in front of the stop line. Just as I was turning, a frightened little pair of eyes met mine.

I immediately pulled over in a defunct driveway and ran out motioning for the oncoming SUV to watch out. She swerved and said "Is that a kitten?!" "Yep!" I said. "I'm taking it home!"

It was a stormy Thursday, so naturally, this little charcoal smoke colored sweet little boy could only be Thor.

He was suspiciously dry for the weather conditions and is way to wobbly to have walked from anywhere. It grinds my gears to imagine why this precious little boy was sitting in the middle of a lane in the rain, but at least his initial stress and fear has subsided and he's now doing a lot better.

My sister is into rescuing and fostering, so she had plenty of tips for us.
