Can we add a rule banning visitors from asking for vacation recommendations?

We have our lovely visitors guide that many people seem to ignore. The replies to these posts are either negative or an argument about who has the best (insert food). Ideally, people would just not comment on these threads and the point would be made, but some people are too nice. There are multiple posts about this every week. I would also be happy to add the "Moving to Charleston tell me what to do and how to make friends" posts, but I will settle for visitors.

Obviously, I am just one person, what do you guys think?
