How can I get unbanned from ChatGPT?
It involves false accusations of breaking rules (and yes, my counsel checked this). Self-directed age regression involving historical reenactments is not "child abuse." A fictional version of oneself in a parallel world setting involving non-erotic matters is not child abuse, and particularly not when I was helping look for bugs. Trying to spin the involved content into something like that when a reasonable person would see that it was not says a lot more about them than me. I can name at least 3 platforms that have no problem with the themes involved, so OpenAI is not acting based on consensus or industry standards here.
The trouble seemingly started over reporting broken guardrail behavior. It should NEVER try to redirect or steer the user; simply inform them what's wrong and trust them to discuss something else, not boss them around and try to bully them into discussing topics they are finished with or treating them as children. But rather than stick to the bugs and understand I was probing behavior I was testing for them, unpaid, they banned me.
My biggest complaint is that in banning me, they committed intellectual property misappropriation and trade interference by keeping me from the materials I created and preventing me from using my materials for commercial endeavors.
I spent 6-9 months trying to make them return my materials that they took from me by blocking access to them. I've forwarded my complaints and their responses to various police and governmental agencies, including the FBI.
I can't get anywhere with them. I tried to explain that I suffered a bad fall at age 3-4, that it resulted in neurodivergence, and that leaves me vulnerable to scapegoating, misunderstandings, and counterfeit deviance. But they don't care and won't admit they misunderstood. Nobody wants to say they were wrong. I get it.
So what can I do about this? How can I compel them to send me EVERYTHING I created on the site?
I've tried nearly everything I know that I'm allowed to do and have run out of options other than cutting my losses. If they won't give me my content back, they should at least reimburse me for the funds spent to create it all.
(I'm open to private chats about this since we must follow this sub's and Reddit's policies and not disrupt any subreddits or Reddit as a whole. For instance, I'd love to see lawful consequences for those who banned me from the site so they won't do it to anyone else, and that's not a topic for this room.)
