Without anecdotal evidence, can you convince me that God is still active in the universe?

I want to start by saying, I believe in a god. I use to think the Christian God was that god, but I am less sure now. What I am sure of is that god no longer intervenes with his creation. This belief has been a result of observation and studying the Bible which made me realize that God was supposedly much more active in humanity thousands of years ago. I’d love to be able to come back to Christianity, but as many of you know, belief is not a choice.
