I may be too removed from dgg, but I don't know why this community gets a bad reputation

I was a on and off listener during my college days, but recently I've been listening much more regularly. I haven't seen much of the maliciousness that a lot of ppl/steamers seem to associate with dgg. I'm sure there's the trolls and the d-bags - like you'll find in any community - but overall the daliban seems to be intelligent, funny, and care for one another.

Like I said, maybe I'm just too removed or don't pay enough attention, but this community seems more 'mature' than some others
