Delusional gene therapy

So why do people keep ignoring facts of reality and are incapable of being reasoned with? We conclude that it has to be "psychological", a lockdown of sorts. Then we "raise our arms in despair" and give up trying to convince through conversations.

What if it has to do with genes?

As some of us know already, genes decide how we operate and function. *Exactly* how much we are actually in control of in our lives, or how little, is unknown for now. A gene can be "on", "off" and mutate. It can be damaged. etc.

We know that people can be more sensitive to a specific kind of addiction. To some, that addiction is nicotine. Others, gambling, shoplifting etc. It's all psychological right?

So what if it can be explained by a gene that is switched to "on"? I'm not saying it does not manifest "psychologically". I don't know how, who, what does when.. But then again **no one knows**. We **do** know that it plays an important role.

It's been some time since genes were "cool" and interesting to talk about, but society/news media forgot about it. The illusion of choice, free will and all that jazz.

**If delusional behavior is triggered by a gene, or genes. Then what that individual needs is not persuasion through reasoning, it's gene therapy.**
