This conversation with Annalicia is good

I get that lots of people are raging about her being really harsh on black men. IMO she is wrong on that and needs to take a far more deterministic view on the world (whenever a large group of people are doing a thing wrong it's probably not because they are bad people, it probably has a lot to do with their circumstances).

That said, it has been an interesting, engaging convo in which both perspectives (the "black men need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps" argument, and whatever you call the opposite of that) get some airtime. Destiny voiced a few counterarguments to Annalicia, and Fanatiq and Aba did so even more.

**It just comes off as super toxic when people here go straight to personal attacks ("she's a massive piece of shit", "she's such a racist") or implying their views are unacceptable ("this is irresponsible platforming", "PUSH BACK MORE!"). You're gonna scare off future guests, plus it's just obnoxious behavior.**

None of us need to be protected from bad opinions, and it's weird to imply otherwise.

I'm mainly just saying turn down the vitriol like 50%. Chill out a bit.

Btw, similar applies to Lav, to Brittany Simon, to mrgirl all to varying degrees. These are all real people with their own worldviews, all of which probably have parts you vehemently detest. Engage with the ideas, go a little easier on the people.
