DMC HDC crashs whenever I try to launch DMC3 with Crimson mod 5.0

I followed the instructions to install crimson mod step by step, but every time I launched DMC 3, the game just kept crashing again and again. I tried every solution, verified the game files, and ran the apply\\\_patch in the data folder as administrator, but nothing helped. Before that.

I also downloaded a ps4 button layout mod since I'm playing on a ps5 controller (could it have something to do with this?).

I have a gtx 960, and I'm using Windows 10, not an idle pc, I know.
