What is the purpose of this sub

Don’t get me wrong, I find a lot of the threads here interesting ever since I stumbled on a link to this sub from somewhere else. But I’m so confused by the purpose. Do you all just hate Dave? Or you just like making fun of him? It seems like a lot of effort is going in to listening to podcasts, reading books, listening to the show, etc., just so you can find something else to mock. If you hate him that much, why aren’t you spending your time doing something other than following every word any of the personalities are saying?

I feel like Dave has his place. There are so many people out there that just need help, and he’s helped a lot of them. I definitely disagree with a lot of things he says, so I just stopped listening to his show. So please help me understand what’s going on here.
