Streaming using raspberry pi

So I play D&D as a DM. I have friends who can't come to the table and I wanted them to share the experience with us. I had the idea of using Raspberry Pi and Pi cam (I already have those) to stream the combat over to them as we play.

this brought two questions to the table. how to do it? what software there is to do that?

they already with us through discord but I want to allow them to see the battle grid during combat to make things easier on all of us (I take photos with my phone to show them the map once per turn which is tedious)

using the Pi is only for it's small size and easy transport
