Is the Spelljammer actually in Spelljammer?

I was flipping through my pdf of the 2e Spelljammer books and found The Spelljammer. For those who don’t know, it’s supposed to be this massive space vessel that looks like a manta ray. It is so big and old that there’s a city on its back, one large enough for several factions to fight. The Spelljammer is beyond the comprehension of mortal sages and even gods! My description here doesn’t do it justice. The Spelljammer captured my imagination.

So I asked one of the people I know if the Spelljammer made an appearance in the 5e books, and he couldn’t find it.

This can’t be true, right? There’s no good reason to not include it. It’s in the fucking logo for crying out loud!
