454 Carb help

454, .040 over with forged pistons and a comp 280H roller. 702 closed chamber heads. Probably about 9.5:1 comp ratio. Edelbrock performer RPM air gap intake. Cast exhaust manifolds still. Super fresh build.

Not getting a good response out of the Edelbrock 750CFM sitting on it now. Not sure what model it is, it’s an electric choke something or other from about 10 years ago. I can turn the idle needle all the way in and it doesn’t seem to give a fuck which is weird.

What would the pros put on this motor?
