Sad Boy Smiles (Spoilers!)

Lots of ending/Dys (and Rex) spoilers, so click with caution.

>! Okay so at this point I've dated Dys 7 times. I've run away with him, I've confessed on the Ridge, I've flirted with him for years, smooched him during spin the bottle, healed his trauma by giving him babies, let him be a terrorist, kept him from being a terrorist, gotten all kinds of cute dates... and still haven't gotten his smiling illustration. Is there a particular ending associated with that? Or am I not going on enough dates with him?

This last time I was dating Rex exclusively, we'd been fooling around QUITE a bit, and I didn't get his illustration either. This is also the playthrough where I found out you can still confess your love to Dys on the Ridge even if you weren't dating him and holy shit my HEART.

Dys pulled out the Molly Grue "how dare you come to me now" and I was SHOOK.

And ofc when I brought Dys back, Rex was like "no more fun times for us" and I was like "yeah".

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong that I'm not getting the "romance" illustrations? (I'm also thinking I didn't get them for Cal or Tang either now that I'm thinking about it 🤔🤔) !<
