Random Final Destination crossover fanfic idea I had
(Sorry if someone else already posted something similar, im new here Also sorry if my writing makes no sense, I haven't sleep properly in days and english isn't my first language)
*My idea is: Final Destination x Death Note crossover*
(This might not make sense if you haven't seen death note idk) (and also has Death Note spoilers so don't read it if you haven't watched DN)
Anyways, the story idea I had starts with a random Japanese student (not Light Yagami) looking out of the window at school
Then they get a premonition of the Death Note falling from the sky (like in the OG death note series) and then they see Light Yagami picks it up. After that they essentially see the entire plot of Death Note as their premonition
The premonition ends and the student is confused about what they just saw
Until they see the Death Note fall from the sky irl
Once the student gets out of class, they go to where the Death Note fell. They see Light Yagami is approching the area, so they hide the Death Note in their own backpack to make sure he doesn't grab it and leave, thus preventing Light Yagami from becoming serial killer Kira
That's where Final Destination comes in, as thousands of people were destined to get killed by Kira, so Death starts killing them one by one (which takes even longer than FD6 bc it's way more people)
Criminals start dying in weird circunstances. Detective L starts investigating, thinking it might be a serial killer. L starts with Japan by making death-row inmate Lind L. Taylor pose as him (like in the OG) and Lind dies in weird circunstances. So now that was the "confirmation" that L needed and he is "sure" that there is a serial killer (poor fool has no idea what's coming lol)
L hires some FBI agents (Raye Penber and others), they all die. Raye's fiancee (aka my beloved Naomi Misora) dies too. L thinks the serial killer somehow killed all of them
Criminals and other people keep dying
L and his assistant Watari die eventually, probably never even knew what killed them
Light's dad dies. Mello and his friend die. Takada dies. Teru Mikamo dies. Misa dies. (None of them were relevant on this timeline, but they all died on the OG so they die here too)
The student who picked up the Death Note also dies at some point
At the very end, we see Light Yagami dying from old age after a long life of not being a serial killer. He doesn't know that death will now come after his offspring bc they weren't supposed to exist either
