Crazy theory

What if the whole thing with recovering the baby entities ends up being something of a red herring? What if Krona (who at one point we saw in possession of these babies, IIRC), is basically going to corrupt or destroy them in some way, such that we need NEW entities?

I'm not saying this is a direction I want, really, but it is something that occurred to me as a possibility. The mysterious quest Hal is on, Carol's quest to complete the Star Sapphire, what if these somehow led to Hal becoming the new "Will" entity, with Carol becoming the new "Love" entity? And maybe Sinestro, Saint Walker, Atrocitus, Larfleeze, and somebody Indigo (not sure of the best choice) actually become the new entities for their respective colors?

The problem I'd have with this would be that, unless the entities took a far more active role than they do now, this would essentially be relegating a bunch of good characters to background roles. But at least we'd be rid of "The Predator" as the Love entity. (At the very least, I want Carol's quest to result in a new Love entity, maybe one actually called "The Star Sapphire", whether or not it is Carol herself.)
