As an entomology fan, i'm confused ! (weird creature names)

Hi ! First of all it's important to say that i'm very passionate when it comes to bugs and entomology, that I work in environment and that i'm an autistic person. That's maybe why I have a hard time accepting the following weird choices that i'm about to point out.

So idk if these problems have been adressed before or not, and i'm sorry if that's the case (I already googled it but didn't fing anything). I've been annoyed by some inconsistencies in the naming of creatures in Grounded and Grounded 2. It's mostly for the french traduction of both games, but is exists also in the english version.

So my problem is that the names of the creatures are not accurate at all sometimes, and for other creatures it's very precise and correct. For exemple :

**- The "larvae" :** It's not just "a larvae" but the larvae of a neuroptera, more specifically a lacewing's larvae. It's actually the second neuroptera larvae in the game cause there is also the antlion larvae (another neuroptera). Just calling it "larvae" is weird since a larvae is the equivalent of a child for the human kind. So basically it's like calling it "child" but not specifying which one. Whyyyyy. There is a ladybug larvae, an antlion larvae, a cockroach nymph in Grounded 2

Also, the model they used in the game is fine, but they based the ladybug larvae off of the same model without twiking it (except for the color) but it's not the same order (Ladybugs are from the order coleoptera and the "larvae" is a neuroptera). They are a little bit similar, it's true, but not that much. 🐞

**- The "bee" :** Why not calling it "Bumblebee" since it's a very well known vernacular name ? I know bumblebees are technically bees, and idk how it is understood in the rest of the world, but in France for exemple we distinguish "bourdons" (bumblebees) from "abeilles" (bees) a lot. People don't even realise that bourdons (bumblebees) are bees here sometimes. 🐝

**- The "grub" :** So this problem is just in the french version. When u translate grub in french it becomes "worm". Which is not true, even tho it kinda looks like one and lives underground too. A worm isn't an insect and has no legs, and a grub is a beetle's larvae. So here in france it should be called "larve de scarabée". Instead, they call it "asticot" which is... a fly's larvae, also known as "maggot". It doesn't even look the same !

Those are the most annoying things about the names of creatures in grounded that I could find, but there's probably more inconsistancies. I just wonder... Did they consult scientists at all while making the game ? I know it isn't supposed to be that precise and it's a very cartoony and fun game (I LOVE the game), but since they seem to represent some creature very precisely, with accurate names, why isn't it the case for each one ?

Hope you understand where i'm coming from and that you'll help me answer my questions or join the confusion train with me !

(sorry for my english!)
