Player bugs patrolling?

So satisfactory has a way for you to record a path you took in a tractor and replay it. I just got my first Ant and was wondering if a partol mechanic would be interesting/wanted. Like where you could ride ant and record a path for it to patrol or use sugar or ant scent to map a path for them.
