“Tone is in the fingers” is a farce. Fight Me!!

It’s a myth that hurts people who can only afford cheap equipment and think they don’t have “special magic mojo bullcrap fingers” and never will. I’m at work so I can’t check in that often, but in willing to take on anyone who propagates this utter nonsense. Yes you can change your tone with differences in picking and fretting, but your actual “tone” comes from your equipment. Your guitar, your pickups, your amp and as importantly your settings for all these. I’m willing to destroy my karma on this. Dopes!
