I dont get why this is not an option.

The 2nd pic is the photo that I saw for the post in the first pic above it.
I have seen a lot of people say this, but i genuinely consider this a meaningless argument, and am writing below in this post from what I wrote in my reply to the dude above.
The idea is not to kill Lannisters for the sake of it, it is to make them lose enough that they surrender and give gold back with interest as ransom.
You can go and sack Lannisport and take all the gold from there. Their bannermen who supported them are also fair game, because they supported their liege's rebellion and said liege has stolen gold from the Crown. Some like Leffords may still have strong mountain-type castles, but certainly most of them wouldnt be as impregnable.
And you can start buring all those lands and trade routes to force them into surrendering. You could collect sizable but fair tributes from all those wealthy Westerland Houses under the direct threat of the dragon hovering over them and not just a rave from King's landing. You could threaten disentitling the Lannisters and make someone else Warden of the West and also take a lot of gold from said new Warden for the title and let the Lannisters rot inside their bloody hill until they starve or finally surrender (whichever comes first).
A house like lannister, would not want to end the legacy of a thousand year old house as a lord of a rock with shiny metal, that they can no longer sell or trade because they're under siege. And if they do, well, their funeral, we aint losing anything.
There are so many things they CAN do. Sending just Daemon with a small retinue from their Riverlands host nearby would be more than enough to carry out this and transfer the gold back to King's Landing. This entire exercise would be done with months, and Caraxes and other dragons can fly immediate supply of bags of gold much quicker too. Instead of wasting all those men and Daemon on Harrenhal, we could be done with this first.
Fuck, we could do the same with many of the much closer, and more vulnerable Reach houses too (but of-course, they were officially under pardon then, but at least after Tumbleton!).
So do tell me why this plan may not work - not how Rhanyra is too aggrieved to give such commands, but rather why rationally all those councillors and great lords on her side would not even consider or suggest this.
