Is it possibly to elevate a kitchen dishwasher?

My family has a a medical issue making it very difficult and painful to load and unload the dishwasher. The machine we have now works fine and is next to the kitchen sink and one other cabinet, both of which are going to be replaced. I’d love to be able to raise this area by 12” but I’m wondering if it’s even an option? Can anyone guide me where I should look for information?
