Joe ghosting peter hotez

Here is thr problem with Joe's kick on covid.

Peter Hotez’s appearance on the JRE highlights a troubling pattern in Joe Rogan’s approach to expertise. Rather than engaging with credible, evidence-based perspectives, Rogan increasingly favors voices that reject mainstream consensus, often without justification. This was evident in his treatment of the archaeologist who challenged Graham Hancock, as well as in his dismissive stance toward Hotez.

The bigger issue is Rogan’s refusal to platform actual experts, instead amplifying figures who’ve failed in legitimate academic or scientific discourse. His claim that "the establishment" excludes contrarians is disingenuous. It’s akin to arguing that the UFC rejects a martial arts instructor because it’s "afraid of the truth," rather than because the instructor lacks proven skill.

This mindset thrives on the illusion of secret knowledge, allowing followers to feel superior without doing the hard work of rigorous study. The result is a media ecosystem that rewards conspiracy over competence, undermining trust in real expertise.
