Linux players, do you play native or proton version?

Hello everybody,

I have tried LE (offline) on Linux using both native and proton version and proton version has better performances than native (approx 30% more fps). After checking protondb it seems it vary between players, some have better performances with native version and some have better performances with proton.

Which version do you use and why ?

Also, I have noticed that my (offline) save does not stay between version (I though steam cloud would have done the job), is it intended?
