MSI GP68 HX 12V no display

Hey all,

Recently moved houses and tried to get on my laptop and it has no display. I hooked it up to a Tv and that seemed to work, however I went to do a full reset of the pc and it restarted to no display again, this time no external. I opened her up and reseated the EDP cable and still nothing. I’ve tried just about everything stupid AI has told me to no luck. No backlight on the laptop monitor either, I should mention. Also i’ll add I was very careful with the laptops internals, I can’t imagine I messed with the ram or gpu.

Am I dealing with a bricked pc? I can’t see BIOS or anything and no logo on boot. AI is at the point in telling me I might need to do a firmware flash…Any advice helps, thanks.
