Dropped Legacy when Initiative hit - is it still a problem?

Hi lovely Legacy players! Back in October, Initiative was the straw that broke this camels back. Is it still as big of a problem? Have any counter-measures been developed? Has it chipped away at Delver's dominance (a silver lining perhaps)?

And any signals from WotC that anything is going to change in terms of B&R? I love Legacy and would like to get back into it if the format is healthy, but it just seemed to go from bad to worse in the fall and the slow pace of B&R changes was extremely frustrating.
