Those who are surprised by Pumpkin...

The family said it themselves in the OG Her Comes Honey Boo Boo series, Pumpkin is crazy. She was an absolute mess all the time, outside of normal hyper kid behaviorm. But apparently she was pretty normal until the lightning accident as a little kid.

Legend has it, Pumpkin was playing video games during a storm. Lightning struck the house and traveled through the game system, electrocuting Pumpkin.

"Pumpkin's never been the same since she got her brain fried"- June

Explains why she's the biggest mess after June. If they didn't have Pumpkin, they wouldn't have a show.
