After buffing the HGSS Team Rocket Executives, it's time to buff the Gym Leaders!

Falkner is a bird specializing flying-type specialist. So, ahem, Gligar would not be a good choice thematically. Not that a random unnamed redditor, AHEM, ever suggested that.

I wanted to give Bugsy 2 Pineco, but Mikey would punt me down a plight of stairs if I even thought about adding duplicate Pokemon without reason, so I added a Pokemon he had in the anime! Spinarak having one move is actually good for it, because the AI will only use Poison Sting for it, increasing the chance, by a lot, that it will poison one of your Pokemon.

Just more JOHTO rep with Morty. Why so few ghost-types? In hindsight, I probably could have given Morty a Koffing. Wouldn't be the first time a gym leader used a Pokemon that wasn't their type, and Koffing is fairly similar to Gastly. Just slap on TM Shadow Ball and Will-O-Wisp and call it a day.

Pryce needed a much stronger Pokemon than Seel. Unfortunately, pre-gen4 Ice Types are just not that great to begin with. Well, this is gen 4, but HGSS doesn't like giving johto trainers gen 4 Pokemon, so I decided to stick with it.

Chuck now has a twist! Instead of a Sitrus Berry, his ace has a berry that no one knows about! Micle Berry to increase accuracy after a certain HP range, then Hypnosis for sleep, Whirlpool for trapping and Focus Punch to go ham is terrifying. His Heracross is there for if you even thought about bringing a psychic-ype

Jasmine's Steelix threatens fire-types heavily with Occa Berry and STAB Earthquake, alongside Double Team evil in case you missed Chuck's Primeape. Magneton also has a combo of Lock-On and a low accuracy move, that being Thunder. Her Skarmory, a Pokemon she always should have had, is a sweeper set!
