I'm excited for the variety that the PVP-lite and PVE options will bring, cause I'm pretty burnt out on the PVP

It's late in the season and I've either accomplished what I wanted or given up on what I don't have the juice left to do, but I still want to play Marathon. But, and maybe I'm just a freak, I just don't have any killer instinct left, to the extent I ever had it. I gear up and load in solo and try to go do one of the few priority contracts I have left, I'm making my way towards my objective, I get shot in the back, downed, eliminated. No motivation to load it up and do it again. I gear up and load into trio fills, my teammates go full aggro on the first people they see, but they've got better gear and started from a better position and they win the fight, run is over. I shrug. We've got 2 weeks left and there is a part of me that still wants to play, but not the same way I did when I was desperate to complete priority contracts or find upgrade materials. Far from feeling the sweat, I'm feeling so chill I don't really want to fight other players, just bots, though I'll try and defend myself if I have to. So that's why I'm looking forward to whatever they've got in store with the PVP-lite and PVE modes, so there are more ways to play the game I don't want to put down, that fit whatever my mood and goals are at the time. I'm not looking for them to become the new focal point of the game, just a nice new option.
