Moonlight/Apple TV BitRate Wired/Wireless

Hi everyone. I currently stream to my 2017 Apple TV Wireless, from my PC wired. Only Forza horizon. I run 1080p 60hz (as my tv is limited) and it looks great at Ultra graphics + DLAA when not in motion, and also when in the interior bc those parts aren’t moving.

However when I drive off then all my graphics settings don’t matter and look the same as medium or high.

Now my setup is wireless for the Apple TV however I have a very good connection according to moonlight Stats: \- network latency 2ms & 1ms variance \- Jitter + Frames dropped by network 0.00 \- Always receiving the same amount of FPS from network as my PC is running my

I have a RE715X tp link extender which is really good. To put in perspective my main modem is in a far away room at the other end of my house over 20 metres from where I currently place the extender upstairs plus it has many walls separating, and from the extender I get about 500mbps download only about 50 less then from modem.

I was wondering if I could use this as a way to get a stronger connection for my Apple TV.

The Apple TV and my wifi is seperate by one thick wall so the Apple TV antennas aren’t the best. So my current thought is to wire the Apple TV to the re 715 which then is in the same PowerPoint as the Apple TV and it will then use that as its antennas for a more powerful connection.

Reason for is I am running 70mbps bitrate at hevc and still not getting a good picture. I don’t want to push 100 bc of older Apple TV decoder limits without a stronger connection.

So I ran speed tests comparing wired vs wireless and wired to the extender gives about 90-100 for Mbps but I assume at 600mbps it matters more on the ping. Ping was 1-2 lower across 3 runs. So wireless consistently held 4ms ping and wired gives 2-3, 2 avg.

I’m trying to just get a clear picture that doesn’t disintegrate when I move the car, and basically I just want an identical picture to native.
