Real player % layups are broken

This shit needs to be nerfed asap. It actually requires zero brain activity. Just mash the shot button in the paint and get rewarded. The amount of heavy contests ive seen go in because of this setting is absolutely absurd. My layup is in the 60s currently and i make it like 8/10 times, contested too. This setting shouldn’t even exist in the first place, why implement something that basically just puts the game on auto pilot. Why bother timing your layups when this is in the game? Makes no sense, needs to be adjusted.

Edit: a lot of you are saying “just play better defense” my point is that i dont think people should be rewarded for having the game play for them. I dont have a problem with some contested layups going in if people time them well, but not when the game just rewards them for pressing the button.
