NBD/First pair of actual work boots
I discovered Nick's mid 2024, when I was already planning my escape from 26 years of crawling around on the floor. So, all of the boots I bought previously were geared toward hiking, just kicking around with my dogs, or what I thought was going to be my new career as a dog groomer. Dog grooming didn't really work out, so I'm back on the floor. I wore nothing but Nick's for the 7 months that I was gone from the trade, so I figured it was time to get some Nick's for work. The Hardwear Pro disappeared from the Trades Program a day or two after I ordered these, which is a shame because these are definitely the best boot for my job.
Hardwear Pro 64 tan RO HNW with a composite toe and Sierra sole. And dang, that comp toe is chunky!! But it's lightweight, which makes the whole boot lightweight. First day in them and I'm loving it. I'm used to the break in at this point, so no complaints. I'm looking forward to seeing how these hold up, as I've yet to see another commercial flooring installer post any pics of well-worn Nick's.
