Taking all my strength and finally posting a photo where my face is visible. When I started my Ozempic journey, I longed for before and after photos because they motivated me (back then, there weren't that many on this sub).

The first photo is from February 2022, when I was at my highest weight. The photo on the right is from yesterday. In the first photo, I'm wearing make-up with lots of filters; in the photo on the right, it's a random office selfie with just lipstick and mascara, no filter.

I started Ozempic in August 2022 and lost weight over the course of a year. Since then, I've been maintaining my weight with lower weekly doses. I focus on protein-heavy meals, weight lifting, and lots of walking to maintain my weight and health.

The last two years have been rough for my health, with a couple of surgeries, and 2024 started off with a breast cancer diagnosis (I am cancer-free and healthy now). I can't imagine I would have powered through all of this while being overweight. Recovery is so much easier when one is strong and at a lower weight.

Glasses are gone, I have treated myself to laser surgery.

I can do so much more now that I have all this energy! Every single side effect was worth it for me!

For those loving statistics: 50F, starting weight 94 kg, current weight 64 kg.
