Obsidian AI integration?

Edit: to clarify, I have been using Amplenote, but I’m trying out Obsidian. I just pointed Obsidian at the file folder of an export of my Amplenote, and it worked pretty well.

Has anyone found a plugin that works well for this? I haven't tried anything yet - I just installed it & found that it opened my Amplenote folder & was usable from the get-go.

I have found that Amplenote's plugins are not very mature, and the LLM ones (Copilot - no relation to the MS product, and AmpleAI) don't really work very well. I want something that will actually digest my notes and let me have a conversation about them. I also want something that is time-aware around note metadata, and can "summarize all conversations about client X in the last two weeks" or similar queries.

NotebookLM works OK for this, but it's a pain in the ass to constantly copypasta my notes into files and then have it update it's source data. I'd love to find a tool that lets me manage information and tasks, and has an AI integration that works reasonably well.

Edit 2: I tried a couple of AI plugins for Obsidian, and some work fine for a few things, but I haven’t found one yet that does everything I want. Claude Code \*does\* handle everything I needed so far, though. It’s a command line tool, and it works great with a folder hierarchy of files. I haven’t tried adding a Claude.md file yet, but that should make it easier to work with properties.
