Life is lining up to become a proper horror movie and I’m legitimately nervous...

For my entire life I’ve been a sceptic of anything remotely related to an after life but now this house is starting to change that. Now everything that’s happening is almost insignificant but starting to weigh on me.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 15 years now and 7 months ago I severely injured my fingers on my right hand to the point that now I cannot hold a pick. Because of this I put my pick down and it has sat in the same position since the day of my injury. 2 weeks ago I was sitting reading more than 2 meters from where the pick was sitting, in a room with every window closed and locked, facing away from the shelf. The pick somehow flicked itself off of the shelf and it hit the back of my head. There was an imprint in the dust but nothing to indicate it had been picked up.

Creeped me out but I put it out of my mind.

Then, on more than one occasion, I’ve felt my forearm being gently squeezed and a soft finger stroked down the back of my arms.

Now finally I swear I’m seeing things in the corner of my eyes. It’s never there when I focus on it and I can’t define what it is I’m seeing but it definitely looks like something out of the ordinary.

The reason it’s about to become a horror film is because my partners friend bought me a little marionette puppet. I love it but with what’s going on, it’s genuinely creeping me out.

The only thing keeping me from being actually afraid is that my dogs aren’t reacting to anything. Might not mean anything but it’s a small comfort.
