Penance Brand Ignite campaign zone clear showcase

I've been thinking of doing penance brand as a starter and have had discussions in other threads if you need to have a clear skill or not. I was interersted myself so I did a simulated league start and then recorded some zones to showcase what penance brand for clear looks in early campaign. You do need some cast speed for it to feel good for sure, the character here has about 90-120% cast speed total from gear + tree.

Chamber act 5 clear with a 3 Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlxxQcRJ4EU

Shavronnes tower act 6 with swiftbrand:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J593u27JUEs

I personally felt that it worked well on it's own and did not feel the need to have a separate clearing skill. It does have that frostbomb playstyle of placing a brand then and then dashing away or placing ahead and then dashing into it. Adding a clear skill should be no issue though if this looks bad to you.

Here is my starter pob if it's relevant. https://pobb.in/aO491WOWikML I did make some adjustments to pickup more cast speed. It is less damage but it feels way comfier, even for wave of conviction. I level with rolling magma until first lab and then switch there with shaper of flames. Can wait longer if you wish and grab golem stuff here but I like switching as early as possible.

I did not simulate any buffs here so it should just have 57% more ignite damage than what is shown here. It didn't feel incredible on single target but 57% is a very big number so should work out.

Edit: Did two runs of blood aqueducts with and without swiftbrand to have an easier comparison between them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zD8fsrh5iVI

Edit2: Did a few maps aswell to showcase the build since someone asked. I did first with obliteration, second with obliteration + ignite spread on gloves and 3rd map with just a trash rare from campaign and no ignite spread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5PKRwlDuiQ

I will say my first impressions are that you should 100% drop some damage and invest into another defense layer, I'm thinking armour. Dropping malevolence and running determination + picking up some armour nodes should feel way better. Just 2k life and no defenses outside of capped res did not feel great, who knew. You can also drop a herald and get tempest shield and invest in block a bit earlier.
