SSD Performance Test Results worse after update? - Samsung 990 Pro


I few days ago I built my first PC. For an SSD, I decided on Samsung 990 Pro 2TB. Then after reading up on benchmarking, stress testing, etc., I realized that I should update the firmware for my SSD. Installed the Samsung Magician, ran a test first thing, so I know how my SSD performs from the very start. Then decided to update, did a mandatory shut down/restart, and then when running the second test, aftet the update, the performance was worse. Does anyone have any experience with this? This is my first SSD ever, only ever using HDDs before. If you have any tips or advice on this topic, please let me know. Please refer to the attached screenshot for exact results of the tests.
