People who use the term “popped my cherry”

What it originally refers to is vulgar enough, but then to use it for other things is really annoying.

“Popped my gambling cherry today at the slot machines” or “Popped my Thai food cherry, YUM!”

Just say “had a great time at the slot machines in Vegas for the first time. Having fun!”
