why is this fandom incapable of taking criticism (also semi ch5 review)

I was optimistic for chapter 5 after what mob said regarding it and the awesome ARG as well as calling it the darkest chapter yet and on par with chapter 3 and the longest yet

come release and the game is extremely short yet somehow drags its foot in every section and has some of the worst pacing since ch2, also no horror OR story which ch4 at least had a compelling narrative

then the fanbase just deflects any criticism regarding wanting it to be an actual horror game and not be over reliant on puzzles

and even after hyping it up as the final chapter with the games idea being in their mind since ch1 they drag it on to 6 chapters making the game 90 dollars which was so obviously a cash grab move and a lot of the fanbase is just excusing it because its more content

the ARG shows they can do a fantastic horror tone yet for whatever reason the game is just completely devoid of it, they even removed all the blood from the rooms in the arg that are in game to babify it

anytime you mention that the game is boring or disappointing they just go nuh uh and dont explain further why its actually good and make excuses for its lack of horror because its a toy factory when ch3 did just fine being a toy factory and having a great horror tone

and regarding the prototypes design why cant people be mad at the 5 year of build up for a design that looks nothing like his forearms, legs, or catnap shrine because they got the yarnaby and doey designer to make him despite them saying they had the design planned

its not even the jester part thats the problem its his extremely cartoony face and lack of bio mechanical aspects we were expecting to see fully utilized in the design

and people will throw ch3 under the bus for repetitive puzzles when thats all ch5 is, ch3 at least has in between sections with the pt hallway, miss delight chase, dogday chase, and catnap boss, ch5 has lilys sub par poorly telegraphed chase and then immediately after another boring lab puzzle, then the game finally picks up with the prototype train which is genuinely a pretty good section BUT ITS AT THE END OF THE GAME

and the vhs yet again are the best part, that one where poppy is getting tortured by prototype is genuinely haunting with amazing voice acting but when she actually gets her head crushed its just nothing

between mob babifying the franchise, making false promises, and its fandoms toxic positivity im losing interest in this franchise fast
