This was before the physical fight even began, so we can conclude asterion is very nearly domainless from the start.

We establish that not only are they getting a significant combat buff but most importantly their **Wills** have fused together. They are FAR stronger than they were pre-ToA, with the shadow bond, even if we take into account Sunny's nerf or the fact that neph has a single soul core. (Which unironically buffs her Ap with the Blessing anyways).

Take note that it's mentioned that asterion can further not use his aspect abilities freely on Nephis AND he is getting mind attacked by mordret. This is also not counting the fact that he is fighting two battles at once, with his consciousness split in two.

**4)**

Sunny gets one more powerup due to being near his source element.

They are not sure if their Will will persist over Asterion even with \*\*BOTH\*\* of them put together.

By all means, this is as **Equal** as a fight can get. They literally spoon feed it to you. Asterion only ever starts losing ground and getting overwhelmed when Neph gets her huge ass domain back.

Even then, he's not a dimwit, he knows odds are stacked against him. He would have genuinely ran away with their lineage and become even stronger had mordret not been there. Saying he had no backup and was simply being arrogant for the sake of it is wrong too.

Tldr: *Asterion was : a) under mind attack b) split consciousness c) fighting TWO life or death battles at the same time d) No domain e) fighting in an arena with shadows that boosts his opponent f) Opponent was buffed to hell, both physically and in terms of Will (Sunny's loss of domain is practically nothing compared to 3 billion people lost. ).*

***I don't think anyone will disagree that Transcendent form Asterion, if Cassie wasn't there to take away his domain, would have put bta against ALL three of them combined. Which is INSANE. I simply CANNOT understand how someone like this gets called weak.***

*Also, as much as it pains me to admit, this is unironically a Mad prince upscale (even though bro was hard carried by his corruption which meant aster couldn't read his thoughts, and primarily the Sin of Solace. It's still goddamn crazy dude managed to hang in there for so long when asterion was a lot less weakened. )*
