IC10 - Is there a way to dynamically adress all present devices of a same type via batch mode?
Larre is fantastic and easy to setup but rather expensive. Therefore I decided to have a look at Harvie with the intention to use it much earlier in a possible new save. From the picture it looked like a big scoop but it is indeed yet another robot arm.
I figured out code to plant and harvest from a hydroponics device and feed the seed back to it using a digital flip flop. Cool. But obviously I do not want to place an IC10 chip for each individual Harvie. The number of devices can be retrieved by batch reading the sum of the PrefabHash divided by the PrefabHash but is there a way to get the IDs or HASH of unknown devices reliably and have the code run for x devices?
This question is also helpful to my code for centrifuges. I have code for 6 centrifuges and need to place additional housings. Sure I could just batch mode x centrifuges until I used all bytes but this would run through code that is not needed. I recon to test this code the centrifuges would be better since it is a single device only. Not 3 different devices like with the Harvie/Hydroponics/Chute.
