Just now getting into this show...

So, I've been watching this show for a few weeks now. I didn't watch it when it aired because I'm 40, and I seem to think I'm too old for teen dramas, but I'm really liking it. It reminds me a lot of the teen dramas I watched when I was a teen, like My So-Called Life, BH 90210 and Dawson's Creek.

I first started watching it to nitpick all of the inaccuracies about KC (I'm from KC). Like "East" Riverside, and referring to Worlds of Fun as "World of Fun". But I've become more forgiving of the artistic license and am appreciative of some of the real KC shots they use like the Plaza fountains and Liberty Memorial. I also noticed things like them using an exterior shot of the real North Kansas City Hospital and just photoshopping the name when Bay's half-sister was born.

Any other "old" folks like me here in this sub? Even though I'm as old as dirt, I still find myself relating to the teens rather than the adults.
