Is teaching worth it?

I’m close to graduating highschool (less than 5 months now) and have been considering all possible career options. One thing that has been on my mind recently was teaching. Because I feel like I could actually connect with some of these kids and make learning fun for them. I haven’t really gotten any useful feedback from my teachers, so I was wondering if any teachers on here could share some experiences, or tell me why I should or shouldn’t pursue a career in teaching.
