Small Jax ramble in ep 8

In this personal torture for Jax, Pomni/Ribbit/Kaufmo figures were tearing his skin off to show who he truly is in a very agressive bully like way.

What I think this implies is how Jax feels about people who try to get close to him. He feels like those who try to get close to him don't genuinely love him and want to hurt him, like Pomni Ribbit and Kaufmo.

He feels like they want to hurt him so he pushes them away and NOTHING expresses that better than this gruesome scene.

EDIT: I wanted to ramble a little more about self-hate. Its incredibly obvious that Jax hates himself. he hates himself so much that he thinks he is unworthy of love, which is why he pushes everyone away, and the ones that actaully try to offer help, he thinks that they're "out to get him" and that their love is fake.

Like when Zooble said "We're all in this together, that includes you Jax." he immediately thinks its bullshit and begins to feel paranoid. He genienely feels like he'd be a burden to everyone, that's why he puts that fake "asshole" persona, that's why he pushes Pomni's hug away in ep 6.
