Holden’s reaction to Miller doing a certain thing is really ridiculous

Ok, so I’m watching the show from the beginning again for maybe the tenth time and for some reason this time, Holden’s reaction to Miller killing Dresden actually made me so annoyed. It’s totally ridiculous.

In the beginning, Holden was willing to risk all five of their lives (himself, Amos, Naomi, Alex and Shed) to chase down the ship that killed the Canterbury in a shitty old shuttle with no weapons. Then Holden is front-row seat for the shit on Eros.

Holden and crew finally find the dude responsible for murdering those 100k people, not to mention was party to the destruction of the Canterbury and the Donnager, and he is now willing to listen to the guy and maybe make a deal with him? You can see in his and Johnson’s faces that they’re both considering it. So Miller takes him out then and there to ensure the scumbag doesn’t get the chance to have any deals made.

Holden instantly hates Miller so much he’s literally spitting at the mouth multiple times over the next few episodes whenever he’s near him. Boots him off the ship and all that.

Then later in the season when they catch up to that other scumbag doctor who kidnapped Mei, Amos kills that guy right then and there with no “trial” and Holden doesn’t care at all like he did when Miller did basically the same thing.

Am I being dumb or does Holden’s reaction and attitude toward Miller in early S2 really piss you off?
